Sixth Form Retention

Of the 272 Year 13 students who enrolled to complete their A Levels at the College 90% of these completed their A Level study programme.

GCSE English and maths progress measure

The college has a small number of students who do not achieve their GCSE in English and/or Maths at grade 'C' at the end of key stage 4.

These students are required to continue to study this qualification in the Sixth Form.  The table below shows the progress made by these students.  A positive score, as shown, means that, on average, students got higher grades in Sixth Form than at the end of key stage 4.  The majority of students who retake their GCSE in Maths and/or English achieve a grade 'C' by the end of Year 13.
