Lutterworth College

Summer School

Summer School Overview

Our summer school was offered to 252 incoming year 7 students, 28 Pupil Premium, over four days in August 2021. The summer school aimed to support students with the transition from primary to secondary school and to aid educational recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic both academically and in terms of wellbeing. The summer school timetable consisted of sessions in English, Maths, Science, PE, Dance, Drama, Food, Music and a focussed session on wellbeing with our Personal Coach.

We used a combination of teachers and support staff to run the sessions, allowing the students to get to know many of the people who they now work with having joined us in September.
