Lutterworth College

From Vision to Performance Management

The vision (mission/ objective/ target) of Lutterworth College is:

'enabling all students to learn, flourish & succeed'

The school employs two main stategies that support this vision:

1.  The school's academic strategy of 'Having the best teachers who deliver the best learning' (lessons)

2. The school's pastoral strategy of 'Developing the Be CHRIST characteristics in all of our students' in that they 'Be..

Courageous

Hardworking

Reflective

Inspirational

Supportive

Tenacious

The tactics employed by the school to underpin these strategies are annually reviewed and documented in the school's Self Evaluation Form (SEF) and the School Improvement Plan (SIP).

The School's Self Evaluation Form (SEF) is a reflective document which provides a current snapshot of the school context & performance in the following areas:

Quality of Education

Behaviour & Attitudes

Personal Development

Leadership & Management

Quality of Sixth Form Provision

An effective & deliverable School Improvement Plan (SIP) - which derives the 'next steps' needed to achieve sustainable school improvement from the school SEF - details the forthcoming actions the school and its leadership need to take over the course of each academic year in each of the areas mentioned above.

The school's SIP will also 'feed' specific Faculty & Department improvement plans and the actions that Faculties & Departments need to take in support of the whole school improvement plan.

Individual colleague & staff Performance Management targets are then based on Faculty & Department improvement plans but also directly link to the school's vision of:

learn

flourish

succeed
